Kinetic Typography Treatment of the Day: Jacob Gilbreath sets Conan O’Brien’s Tonight Show farewell speech (AKA the “please do not by cynical” speech) to vintage-style kinetic typography.

Gilbreath says:

The combination of vintage styled type layouts and the sleek 3d look achieved in Cinema 4D allow the wall to seem both old and new. This contrast emphasizes time and creates a sturdy and timeless object which is the perfect metaphor for Conan O’Brien.

Dizzyingly awesome and inspiring.

Awesome coincidence of the day: Tell me that does not look like a tranny version of Conan O’Brien. Found on a story about Conan O’Brien.

No offense to the woman. She seems lovely.

No offense to trannies either. I’m sure they’re lovely too, and it is “everyone wear purple” day.

Comedians that comedians love

Not surprisingly, Carlos Mencia, Jeff Dunham, and Dane Cook are missing from the list. Good to see that I have a decent taste in comedians as judged by comedians.
